Motivational Interviewing

Problem: Members joining a weight loss program know and understand the risks of obesity and the importance of lifestyle changes, but have difficulty motivating and maintaining lifestyle changes. Within the weight loss program, they have access to a health coach over the span of one year. 

Solution: Provide health coaches with training on what motivational interviewing is and how to utilize it in their practice. Monitor health coach success rates in supporting member's ability to sustain lifestyle changes to determine long term success of the training.

Providing Accommodations for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Employees

Problem: Deaf and hard of hearing employees have a higher rate of turn over when compared to employees without disabilities due to ineffective communication with managers and coworkers. 

Solution: Train managers with an interactive eLearning course that provides them with insight into their deaf employees' day-to-day struggles and tools to mitigate the struggles.

User Success Onboarding

Problem: A rapidly expanding startup in need of sustainable onboarding solutions for their newly-formed user success team while ensuring the co-founders were still accessible to new employees. 

Solution: Provide asynchronous training on how to use the product (not featured here) and logistics of responding to customer support requests (edited version of project featured here). To provide co-founder accessibility to new employees, the end of the training has a sample support request in which learners are asked to respond to the support ticket. Because the client lacked an LMS, learner responses populate a Google Sheet. The learner responses are reviewed with the learner by the co-founder in charge of onboarding.

Implementing New Scheduling Laws

Problem: New ordinances have been passed regarding fair scheduling in retail and the fast food industry. Busy managers must be quickly trained on these laws to ensure they are compliant with the laws and avoid financial penalties to their businesses.  

Solution: Train managers with a quick. 10-20 minute eLearning course that is scenario based and equipped with information regarding the laws and penalties associated with the laws.
